Established in early 2016, Virtual Facilities Consulting (VFC) is a growing Virginia–based BIM consultancy specializing in the practice and implementation of Building Information Modeling. Founded by a highly-educated, experienced, and professional construction professor from Virginia Tech and closely partnered with various BIM and PM consulting firms and individuals, VFC provides services to a wide variety of private and public sector clients across the Design, Construction and Facility Management industries.

Our services focus on leveraging BIM and BIM-related technologies to manage the BIM model throughout the lifecycle of the building project from design through facility management to maximize the benefits these tools bring through increasing efficiency and productivity, achieving optimum solutions, increasing coordination and minimizing risk and waste to our clients.
Our BIM consulting services can be customized to fit the specific client needs. We can tailor our BIM integration strategies to work with our customers on specific tasks during the design, construction and commissioning, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) phases; or we can provide a full BIM integration package for the entire project life-cycle (Design through O&M).
