Operational Impact Analysis

FM teams are faced regularly with situations that require responding to an emergency issue or event. Understanding the dependencies across the different systems and components, and being able to visualize how systems/subsystems interact with one another and with building spaces, functions and people would allow FM staff to accurately determine impacts across the facility, and develop strategies to respond rapidly and in real-time to these emergencies.
Results can be visualized using dynamic dependency diagrams of linked components and systems. Analysis data can be exported in a variety of formats and reports for engineering decision-making and recommendations. Results are also directly imported to the BIM model to graphically view linked model systems and components relevant to the impact analysis. A unique advantage of this solution is that it continually processes the source O&M databases, so as FM staff change and update the information saved, the impact analysis stays up-to-date without any additional work.

Using Agile Handover platform , VFC will develop customized impact analysis solutions that use rules and algorithms to query data available from FM-capable BIMs (Revit or Naviworks) and supplementary O&M databases, identify dependencies among linked systems and components, analyze the propagation of the impact across systems, spaces and people., and display the results visually in the BIM model.
